How to Order
You may place your orders by calling (800) 472-7274, (336) 249-0276 or Faxing your order to (336) 249-7750. We will be glad to quote prices based on the part you need and the quantity.
Minimum Order
A $25.00 minimum order is required. No exceptions.
Freight
All window screens, patio door screens, mini blinds, and vertical blinds are shipped freight prepaid. Actual freight charges plus a handling fee will be added to each order for parts that are shipped via UPS. Orders for closed doors and storm doors will be shipped prepaid, with actual freight charges added to the invoice. All orders are shipped via UPS unless size limitations prevent us from doing so. Orders that cannot be shipped via UPS due to size are shipped via common carrier motor freight.
Damage
Packages must be checked for damage before they are signed for. If damage is evident, you must indicate this on the delivery receipt and notify Davidson Sash & Door Inc. of the damage immediately. If you find concealed damage after opening a package, notify Davidson Sash & Door Inc. immediately so a claim may be filed with the carrier. We cannot file a claim for concealed damage unless it is reported within 24 hours of receipt of delivery.
Shortages
We must be notified within five days of receipt of merchandise if there is a shortage in shipment.
Returns
No return will be accepted without prior authorization. If the error in shipping is that of Davidson Sash & Door Inc., full credit will be issued for the returned merchandise. If the error is not that of Davidson Sash & Door Inc., a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the credit, and the customer will be responsible for return freight charges.
Prices
Orders are accepted based on prevailing prices at the time of shipment. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Taxes
Applicable sales taxes will be added to all orders shipped to points in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia unless a Sales Tax Exempt Certificate is provided.
Terms
Net 30, subject to prior credit approval. Until credit is approved, all orders will be shipped on a cash-with-order basis. A 1½% per month service charge will be added to all past-due invoices. Please pay from the invoice. We do not issue statements.
